How do you make a film that is successful and watched by many people? Until now, it seems that not a single film maker (filmmaker) has been able to formulate this.

However, according to the film artist who is also the founding producer of the production house Prilly Latuconsina, it is very important to work on every film with the heart, aka starting from the heart. This was conveyed by Prilly when speaking at the National Film Day press conference held by Netflix Indonesia at the end of March 2024.

According to Prilly, by highlighting everyday issues or themes according to their heart's calling in the film, the audience can feel a connection with them. He gave the example of one of his films, Budi Pekerti (2023), which successfully won two Citra Cup awards in the same year and the 2024 Santa Barbara International Film Festival for the best International Fiction Film category.

"Just because he was caught on camera being angry at someone who was jumping in line, the main character went viral and this had an impact on his life," said Prilly.
