Chicha Koeswoyo, Eldest Comes Home

Chica Koeswoyo is happy because during Eid her eldest child will return to his homeland from the US.

What is the joy of Eid? For former little singer Chicha Koeswoyo, joy is not going home or wearing new clothes. "Now it's no longer like that. "Family gatherings will make me happy during Eid," said Chicha, Wednesday (27/3/2024), in Jakarta.

Chicha revealed that her mbarep child or eldest child would return to his homeland from his studies in the United States. The happiness of meeting the eldest child was so strong even though his youngest sibling, who was also studying in the US, could not come home.

"His younger sibling cannot go back to the homeland. He remains in Oregon, still busy with his studies," said Chicha who opened an art exhibition entitled "Anak Panah Nogosui" by artist Sri Hardana at the Garage Room, Gandaria, South Jakarta, on Sunday (24/3/2024).

Chicha apparently feels connected to an exhibition that processes narrative prophecies from the Javanese "Primbon." "Interestingly, our family still holds the primbon," she said.

The exhibition is quite interactive. Every visitor can predict their own future. Sri Hardana provides 21 characters or conditions that they want to know on the Question Panel. Visitors are then asked to choose one, and then move to the Arrow Panel to aim at a selection of geometric shapes also totaling 21 shapes.

Afterward, in the Answer Panel, you can trace the meeting between the prediction questions and the obtained geometrical forms. There is the answer text there. That is the prediction. It's up to the reader to believe it or not.
