As April 22 2024 approaches, a feeling of dag-dig-dug has enveloped all citizens of this nation, especially the three parties currently in dispute at the panel of judges at the Constitutional Court. The date is expected to be the end of all disputes over the 2024 presidential election.
April 22 2024 is not long after the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1 Shawwal 1445 Hijriah, a 10-day grace period that the public hopes will be the perfect time for the eight Constitutional Court judges to reflect on being able to decide cases as fairly and honestly as possible. Substantially fair, not just procedural legal justice, as written by Prof. Sulistyowati Irianto in the Opinion column of the daily Kompas, Friday, April 5 2024 edition ("Substantial Justice and Formal Procedural Justice").
Eid al-Fitr contains the meaning of purity, returning to the nature of nature, namely the nature of honesty, truth, justice and statesmanship.
The Constitutional Court's decision on April 22 2024 will be a touchstone for the statesmanship of the Constitutional Court judges, whether Your Excellency's judges are able to get through it smoothly or even slip up, as written by Megawati Soekarnoputri in the daily Kompas, Monday edition, 8 April 2024, entitled "Statesmanship of Constitutional Court Judges".
The views, opinions, suggestions, and contributions of those who still love this country and uphold the values of honesty and justice are not merely personal views or opinions because they come from respected individuals. All of these are based on the substantial values of honesty and justice.
It is certain that the Constitutional Court's decision on April 22 2024 will not satisfy all parties involved in a dispute or case.
The eight members of the Constitutional Court judges panel are selected judges, who are at least considered to have integrity in upholding the dignity of the constitution of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
The public regards honorable judges as having a sharp conscience, deep consideration of cases, and sensitivity to the hopes of the entire population. The advantage of constitutional judges is the ultimate weapon of the Constitutional Court in resolving disputes over the results of the 2024 Indonesian presidential/vice presidential election.

Complaint about packaging chili sauce
Enticed by an advertisement for a chili sauce product that claimed to use the best ingredients without preservatives, coloring, and MSG, and containing high levels of vitamin C, I purchased the Pohon Cabe brand chili sauce on March 19, 2024.
I made my purchase through a reseller on Shopee under the name "jualcabeofficial". When the order arrived at home, I didn't consume it immediately because the old stock was still in the refrigerator.
I didn't expect that the chili sauce that we bought on April 12 2024, when we wanted to use it, the packaging looked bloated, even though there were no defects in the packaging, the lid was still sealed with an expiration date written on March 7 2025.
When I confirmed with the seller regarding the chili sauce product that I purchased and found out that the packaging was problematic, despite the expiry date being far away, the seller refused to replace the product on the grounds that the warranty period only lasts until March 24, 2024.
So, even though the expiration date is still far off, is a damaged packaged chili sauce product a risk for the buyer? Is it true that the seller has the right to reject a damaged product even though the expiration date is still far off?
Clearly, this is detrimental to consumers. We urge manufacturers and sellers to not shirk their responsibility before the expiration date. Hopefully, other consumers will not have to experience the same thing.
